Dear friend, dear reader:
I present to you Fleeting Nostalgia and the Smell of Coffee. This is an 8 part zines project compiling english poetry i wrote between 2021 and 2024 (roughly). The zines are ordered by thematics. They reflect thoughts, feelings, moods i had at the time. Some poems i still hold dear, some i'm mortified over. What i am not, however, ambivalent over, is the vulnerability with which i created these works, and the honesty i held throughout my writing. Those are two elements i still strongly value and associate with the notion of what "good" poetry is (poetry itself has no moral value and isn't supposed to have one).
Pleaase, please feel free to download, share, read, work around, with these zines. They originally were printed on paper, but are meant to travel and i feel this might be a better way. If you end up using any of my creations in any way, a little mention towards me would be nice. Anyway, go read, go steal like i stole, enjoy. I hope these works will make you feel things. Soothe what needs to be soothed and agitate what has been stuck. With love,
please steal from me
Bites of me ✮ Sweet memories and orange slices ✮ about gender, homes, and who i am

Faulty wire ✮ Tales of my breakdowns ✮ poems about not doing so good
Rewired ✮ Down but not out ✮ directly follow faulty wire, poems about trying to get better despite it all
Tales of a different universe ✮ fictional poems with real feelings ✮ sometimes fictions allow us to see and mention things from a distance
Where pain comes from ✮ poems from my bed ✮ poems about living with constant pain, from a time where it would eventually get better. let's not talk about that

All writing, imaging (taking the pictures and editing them) and editing has been done by myself. Some poems (not many) have been beta read by close friends (thanked with words of encouragement, beers, and shitty drunk takes).
The original paper version of the zines has been made with the dear and loved help of my friend Graine, partner-in-crime when it comes to my stupid/seemscrazy/over-my-skill-set poetry projects. Always getting better by challenging myself.
with excitement
“Fleeting nostalgia and the smell of coffee” is a self edited zine project centered around thematic compilations of poems I wrote. Born from the desire to share my words with anyone interested, it is a very modest project I deeply cherish.
These poems are, as poetry often is, deeply personal. I write about a lot of subjects, including and not limited to: mental health related struggles, death and oppressions. While it is not my goal to make anyone feel uneasy, please be aware that some of these poems have precise depictions of intense feelings, dark thoughts, mentions of aggressions and stressful situations.
If you are going through a hard moment, please reach out to your loved ones and/or any help available to you.
My poetry comes from my insides, from the most vulnerable and honest part of myself. It’s visceral, it’s untamed. These zines have poems coming from my mental breakdowns as well as my most euphoric moments and compile about 3 years worth of writing.
Thank you for reading.
